Crutch Tip 18 mm Hole

Crutch Tip Replacement Solution The Crutch Tip object is an exact replica of its existing counterpart, carefully copied from the original tip. The inner hole diameter measures 18mm. To prevent damage during insertion, I inserted a washer of matching size into the hole before placing the crutch itself inside. This precautionary step effectively mitigates any potential cutting effect. When it comes to slicing, enabling support is crucial due to a 1mm difference in the bottom layers. This adjustment ensures a smooth printing process. For testing purposes only, I created a separate STL file called "test crutch tip 18mm hole.stl". Its sole purpose is to verify if the hole size fits without necessitating the entire object's print. The Story Behind It Years ago, I lost one of my Crutch Tips in the woods while still relying on crutches for mobility. In that time, I fashioned a makeshift replacement using available rubber and materials, employing a "redneck" approach. Recently, after being forced to use crutches again, I found myself without the makeshift replacement and had to improvise under the cover of night, exacerbating my back pain. Having recovered and regained strength, I decided to model and print a high-quality TPU replacement for future reference.
