This is a stand for crutches but could also be used for a walking stick or umbrella. Works on a cantilever design which closes when the crutch is pushed on to the base of the arms, this closes the top of the arms around the crutch bar & holds it perfectly upright. When removing the crutch the arms open back up again. So no need to bend down & touch the stand at all.
