Crutch Mounted Cup Holder
thingiverse
I designed this because I broke my ankle in a car accident and trying to carry a coffee cup while walking on crutches at the same time is extremely frustrating. To assemble it, you'll need to print one actual holder and two hinge/bracket pieces. First, pop off the end of the crutch, remove the grip, and then slide the two pieces down either side. Next, spread them apart to insert the cup holder. I recommend sliding it down as far as possible to create a snug interference fit. There's also a hole on the side of the brackets where you can pre-drill and add a screw for extra security. Be aware that the grip/handle will spread the bars apart. I learned this the hard way after going through several revisions and prints. I've included the SketchUp files, so feel free to make changes or remix it as needed. The parts should already be in the correct orientation for printing.
