## Cruiser (STC #167) ### A tray-packing puzzle by Stewart Coffin Fit all four pieces into the rectangular opening. This puzzle is one of a series of tray-packing puzzles. It's a delightful design, seemingly simple yet surprisingly tricky. Coffin wrote of this puzzle: "This little gem is a sequel to Few Tile #133 and a top favorite among my flat tray puzzles because of its deceptive simplicity. Fit the two trapezoids and two triangles into the rectangular tray. Mary and I would take one along on our various travels to entertain our companions, hence the name. Seldom could any of them solve it." There are three STL files: the pieces; the tray; and an optional lid. The tray includes an extra space for one of the pieces, for easy storage while the puzzle is in its unsolved state. It's modeled using PuzzleCad, and I have included the .scad file in case you want to remix it. You will need PuzzleCad version 1.3 or later. ### About the Designer Stewart Coffin is a renowned designer of interlocking mechanical puzzles, having produced an extensive range of ingenious designs of various shapes and complexity.
