Cruiser

Enjoy having a sleek modern streamlined aircraft grace your sky! Print with less than 25% infill using supports. Print in either the default orientation or with in the tail-down orientation - depending on the capacity of your printer and scale that you want your model. The tail-down orientation will use less support material for a given print size. The model has appeared in my YouTube video https://youtu.be/MENpbfTeKBE. The v01 version is a model originally modelled in Bryce. At that time Bryce was the only software that I had that could create 3D models. My aim was to create an aircraft that looked pleasing in renders and which also used simple primitives and boolean operations. The v02 and v03 versions are basically the same as the v01 version, except that they have been remodelled in ViaCAD by overdrawing the v01 obj exported files. There is a slight change to the wing tips, using a stretched sphere. The v03 model has been remeshed in ZBrush to bring down the vertex count. The v04 version has a larger spar connecting the wings to the engine. For the engines, the central section now has a smaller diameter and the diameter of the supports has been increased. The aim of this variant is to allow the Cruiser to be printed at smaller scales.
