Crude Ruler to Caliper Adapter

I desperately required a massive pair of calipers to gauge the enormity of my skull, so I utilized a metal ruler on hand, crafting some adaptations to convert it into something suitable for measurement.\r\n\r\nThe smaller component boasts a 26mm by 1mm aperture that spans its entire length, designed as the movable part of the measure. In the larger piece, a slot of identical dimensions extends from the base of the L-shape through to the edge of the arm, serving as the endstop.\r\n\r\nThis makeshift device can only measure down to 2cm, and I wouldn't endorse its precision, but it's sufficient for my purposes.
