A Crucifixion Plaque Over O'Conor Roe's Arms is Embedded in the Dominican Friary's Transept Wall. This crucifixion plaque, measuring 1.06 meters by 1.06 meters, is built into the inner face of the S wall of the transept of the Dominican friary, situated over the grave of John O'Conor from Tonroe, who passed away in 1777. The plaque vividly depicts Christ on the cross, flanked by Mary on his right and St John on his left side. Above Christ's head is visible the inscription 'INRI'. The crucifixion plaque was meticulously recorded using an Artec Eva handheld scanner by Orla-Peach Power, who spearheaded this project, which received funding from the Roscommon Heritage Council.
