Fashionable and functional, I designed a cross pendant that keeps my glasses in place when I'm not driving. This is the first design I've shared online, and I look forward to posting more of my creations. Print Settings: Printer: CTC dual Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 Infill: Pendant=50% Oval loop=100% I used PLA for this project, but I'd love to see the design in other interesting materials and colors. Supports are only necessary for the cross pendant; the oval loop doesn't require them. I think the best print orientation is standing up with supports for the arms. A raft was used for the cross pendant, although it's not essential. The oval loop can be printed without a raft. A layer cooling fan was used for the cross pendant but not required for the oval loop. The oval loop was printed with 100% infill because of its fine details, and the cross pendant had 50% infill. You could adjust the infill percentage to suit your needs. I designed the oval loop to be printed with a .4mm nozzle, which results in a thickness of .8mm x .8mm height (4x .2mm layer height). Post-Printing: When shaping the oval loop with hot water, avoid using boiling water. Instead, use a regular hot tap for just a couple of seconds while gently stretching the loop with your fingers. Hold this position for a few seconds to allow the PLA to cool and take on its new shape.
