Crucero en memoria de un naufragio (Moaña)
sketchfab
In the 19th century, maritime transportation between Moaña and Vigo relied on sail and oars. During this time, ships were unreliable, resulting in shipwrecks like the one that occurred on November 13, 1838, when a boat owned by Fernando Núñez, which normally made the crossing between Vigo and Moaña, sank after killing 15 people. The family of one of the drowning victims, José Ramón González, wanted to honor the memory of the shipwreck by building a cruise ship in Con (Tirán).
