Crown Marker for Initiative Trackers
thingiverse
I remixed this from a very simple crown file by simply resizing and duplicating the crown, spinning it a few degrees and shrinking, then repositioning it again to make another one fit JUST inside of it to stiffen up the walls while keeping a thin profile, for resin printing. However, I don't see why a properly dialed-in FDM machine couldn't print this as-is. I am definitely having trouble locating the original file now, as my STL got corrupted and I had to make a now one by importing the .ctb file, so if you know the maker of the original 5-point crown model, I would love to accredit them for this amazing and simple model. The reason I created this in such a way is that I usually hung a bottle ring over our old initiative markers, made of painted clothespins written on with Sharpie and could march it along through initiative until it looped back around, BUT I printed out a set of mrflippant's "DM screen-top initiative tracker 6mm" and wanted to upgrade the ring to match. Wanting something flashy, I went for a simple crown to match the simple, but elegant design of these trackers. After printing, I plan to eventually add black foam walls to "hug" the marker and hold the crown upright, since I printed everything in resin and want to be as kind to it as possible.
