Crow T. Robot Puppet Kit (Seperated)

This is the exact same as the original, only I broke the pieces of the model apart so they can be printed individually. I did not have a gold filament available, so I opted to print it in Solutech Orange, which I happened to have on hand. The result came out very nice indeed. I used supports solely for the head and it was absolutely great. I plan to purchase some gold spray paint to finish it off perfectly. A piece of all-thread #8 approximately 6cm in length proved ideal for attaching the head to the torso. It screwed into the slot in the torso with ease, while the hole in the head is slightly larger, so the head simply rests on it. I secured a nut onto the all-thread to keep the head at the precise height I desired. As for the joints on the arms and the jaws, I employed the PLA Rivet trick. Both the jaw and the arms are capable of movement. I intend to use mine primarily as a statue rather than a puppet, so I probably won't make the mouth operational, although you certainly can. I did set it up with a piece of fishing line and it works beautifully. Feb. 17, 2020 Update - In printing my own Crow, I encountered an issue with the "Face." The eyeballs were simply floating inside the face piece. I rectified the STL so that the eyeballs are now firmly attached to the inside of the face as one would expect. I considered removing the eyes so one could print them separately should they want working, moving eyes, but due to the shape of the face piece and the way the eyes were touching it along the sides, it was too difficult to cut apart.
