CROW MASK & RING COSTUME SET made for #costumechallenge 2016 Same mask in 3 different styles - FACETED, WIREFRAME, and LATTICE STRUCTURE. Facet style - highly printable if split in half along beak. Wireframe style - highly printable if split in half along beak. Lattice structure style - highly printable as is due to 45 degree struts. I designed this in Rhino using Grasshopper plug-ins to get the wire frame and lattice styles of the faceted design. I captured my face with 123d scan images and a real crows skull for accurate scaling. Print Settings Notes: Print facet and wireframe styles of mask by splitting model in half. Print rings standing up tall. I created this CROW MASK & RING COSTUME SET specifically for #costumechallenge 2016 using three unique styles - FACETED, WIREFRAME, and LATTICE STRUCTURE. FACETED style can be printed easily if the model is split in half along the beak. The WIREFRAME style also benefits from splitting the model in half along the beak for optimal printing results. LATTICE STRUCTURE style can be printed as is due to its 45-degree struts. I designed this project using Rhino and Grasshopper plug-ins, which allowed me to generate wireframe and lattice styles from the faceted design.
