Adapted from Kitlaan and Tunell's innovative designs, this comprehensive guide includes the essential components required to build an auger feeder compatible with either a 1-inch or 1.25-inch Schedule 40 PVC Tee. The package features meticulously designed plans for both sizes of auger, servo mount, and a sturdy base for a 1- or 2-liter bottle that holds food, perfectly suited for use with a continuous rotation servo (FS5103R Feetech) readily available at popular online retailers like adafruit, amazon, or directly purchased. The entire system is skillfully driven by an Arduino microcontroller. I successfully utilized this design to create my own cutting-edge automated crow behavior box (detailed images, code, and additional accessories will be shared soon). The auger has been refined from Kitlaan and Tunnell's original designs, eliminating the need for tedious sanding on both 1-inch and 1.25-inch PVC installations.
