This striking sculpture is situated in the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden on the Washington DC mall. http://dcmemorials.com/index_indiv0000455.htm I chose it primarily for its captivating subject matter and also because it seemed particularly photogenic, with minimal overhanging elements. I captured 30 high-resolution images from multiple angles around the sculpture and uploaded them to 123D Catch to create the digital model.
