Winter is one of the last survivors of the Frozen Order - a small isolated community that performed its harsh rituals even before the catastrophe. A few years ago, the order ceased to exist - one of its own couldn't withstand the pressure and burned down his hometown. Nobody knows who it was, so the remaining Frozen survivors are hunting each other. As if making amends for past mistakes, Winter tries hard to be kind to ordinary people and give them gifts: he may bring a severed raider head, or make a necklace from teeth. But both kids and adults avoid him for some reason. So Winter has to wander the wasteland, searching for those he can make happy.
