Crossolin

Our design is inspired by our love for music, as we're both musicians. The concept combines elements of a violin (scroll, pegbox, tuning pegs, fingerboard, neck, bridge, tailpiece, and chinrest) and a crossbow, reflecting the historical use of weapons in Chicago to protect musicians from gangs. We aimed for a futuristic look, reminiscent of sci-fi weapons. The violin symbolizes elegance, freedom, happiness, and elegance, while the crossbow represents the past and serves as a reminder not to forget it. The design's yin-yang balance illustrates that both elements must coexist harmoniously. Our goal is for people to understand music's deeper meanings. We overcame challenges by using triangles to create a curved, sharp finish within the 254 x 254 x 254 mm size constraints.
