Crossfire Skids
pinshape
Summary A pair of skids designed for the Crossfire or Crossfire 2 is available. They attach to the bottom plate via M3 hex screws, replacing the integrated legs in the arms. I've tested them up to a three-foot drop at gross weight. The legs flex well and appear robust. If you like this design, consider donating; it enables me to keep creating more content. Donate Update 4/1/14: dcowan remixed the landing gear with a printed skid, resulting in a sleek design. Check out their work on Thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:285292. Instructions Two files are provided: Gear1 and Gear2. Print two of each with at least 50% infill. Additionally, you'll need a 3/8th carbon fibre tube or a 3/8th inch wooden dowel. Attach the skid legs to the Bottom Plate using M3 hex screws and washers. Then, snap the CF tube or dowel into the skid legs and secure with super glue.
