Crossfire Arms

Here are the (very) long overdue Crossfire and Crossfire 2 Arms and accessories. All the arms are compatible between both platforms, addressing most of the issues people have had in previous versions. Both the original Crossfire and Crossfire 2 arms are included, along with the 3.0 arms. The 3.0 arms are basically a modular version of the previous arm, perfect for using without any legs attached when working with Skids. The arms also feature two areas to add different types of legs: under the motor mounting area and mid arm. These leg attachments press fit snugly into place, requiring only that piece to be reprinted in the event of a breakage, unlike past designs where entire arms needed to be replaced. Weight is one of the largest factors with anything that flies, and I received many requests to beef up this area of the original arm, as it was most likely to break in a crash or hard landing. However, crashes and hard landings can still break even strong parts, and anyone who has printed these arms knows they take the longest out of any part. This is why printing just a replacement leg in 15 minutes is a great option. Other improvements are on the near horizon, thanks to everyone's feedback from printing, flying, and sharing their experiences. A special thank you goes out to everyone for their contributions. Update: I have added the Sketchup files of the arms for all your modifying needs. New arms will be released soon! Instructions: Print at 25-100% infill with 2-3 shells. I print my arms and legs at 50% infill with ABS, but others have also had success with PLA despite its brittleness compared to ABS. Only the Standard Leg requires support during printing. Press fit the leg into the arm, and you can also add a small drop of glue between the Standard Leg and the arm for extra resilience in hard landings, although it's designed to pop off instead of break.
