Crossbow
thingiverse
A simple and straightforward crossbow to construct and assemble, perfect for unleashing mayhem on loved ones, acquaintances, and even your household pets and coworkers. It's compact size makes it easy to grasp, without being too cumbersome, while a spring-loaded trigger makes this crossbow a joy to use. All components are 3D printed, apart from two elastic bands that are needed. Watch this video for more details: http://youtu.be/Regy2Y768V4 Note: I have updated the Handle Cover to fit loosely. Instructions Print one of each item, and optionally an arrow. I utilize Slicer with these settings: Perimeters = 3 Top/Bottom layers = 2 Layer height = 0.2mm Infill = 30% Two elastic bands are required - a smaller one (approximately 20mm in diameter) for the spring-loaded trigger and a larger one (around 50mm in diameter) for the bow. Firstly, insert the Firing Lever with the small elastic band into the handle. Then, slide the Trigger into place. Ensure that the mechanism glides smoothly; trim or sand it as needed (depending on your printer's quality). Next, wrap the larger elastic band around the bow and then attach it to the handle. Lastly, push the Handle Cover over the mechanism - it should fit snugly and stay in place due to its tight fit. You're ready to go!
