Crossbow Micro Scorpio
thingiverse
I'm excited to share my first prototype of a reverse compound micro crossbow with you. After printing, I encountered some issues with clearances that needed attention. The trigger mechanism required drilling out holes to ensure smooth operation without friction. Additionally, there was some sanding involved to get the parts to fit together seamlessly. Fortunately, the mechanism works as intended and it also shoots accurately. However, after each shot, the bowstring slips from the cams. I suspect a string stopper might be the solution to this problem. The design of the parts allows for printing without supports when printed flat on the bed. For optimal results, I recommend printing every part once, except for the cambolt which needs to be printed twice.
