Crossbow mechanism

Based on Julio Raizer's model, I developed a straightforward mechanism that can be manufactured with ease. It features a built-in safety switch and self-locking capabilities. All the minor components can be sourced from Misumi. The mechanism itself has been designed to minimize friction and operate silently, thanks to the incorporation of rubber rings and Teflon washers. I need a few more weeks to gather all the necessary parts. The housing can be fabricated from sheet metal. I've included two design options: one involves bending a single metal part, which is my preferred approach, while the other consists of using two separate sheet metal components, making it easier to manufacture.
