The precision cross-mark pointer was specifically designed for use with a DIY 40W CO2 laser cutter, as showcased in the Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/271589873026356/). This innovative tool enables precise positioning and alignment of objects to be cut. Two state-of-the-art line-laser-diode-pointer modules are employed to generate the cross mark. Each pointer module boasts a 9 mm outer diameter, with a spreading angle of the light sheet measuring a full 90 degrees. However, due to the projected light line being excessively thick, a slot mask is utilized for shading purposes. For a visual demonstration of this clever setup in action, please refer to the YouTube video (https://youtu.be/h_14anI-YwA).
