cross fixation for Thunderbolt flying base

I acquired a pre-owned old FW Thunderbolt lacking a cross to secure the flying base in place. To overcome this issue, I developed a custom fixation system for a standard GW flying base. The solution involves four holes that reinforce the fixation using small metal rods (identical in diameter to paper clips). Given the substantial weight of the thunderbolt, I strongly advise utilizing these fixations! The cross itself is somewhat narrow, and this design choice was intentional; I sought to maximize friction due to the thunderbolt's considerable weight. To discreetly integrate the fixation system, I disguised it as an additional auspex array: One model features sensors on both front and back sides the other has sensors positioned on the sides
