Crosman PSM45 Clip Release/Retention button S401-C4
thingiverse
I purchased several spring-powered BB pistols in my youth, with this Crosman PSM45 emerging as my top pick. Perfect for backyard plinking without breaking the bank or worrying about causing harm to others. Over time, however, the feeding mechanism became inconsistent, and I noticed that the clip was ejecting partially. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the 1mm ledge responsible for holding the clip had become slightly rounded. I extracted the part in question and contacted Crosman to inquire about replacement options, only to discover that they did not offer spare parts. The part bears a casting mark reading "S401-C4". Here are the V4 and V7 designs I've come up with. The V4 model works effectively, but the V7 design holds the clip even more securely and features a button that is flush against the surface, reducing the likelihood of accidental ejection. The V8 design shares similarities with the V7, but its supports are positioned slightly further away for easier removal, making it my recommended choice.
