Crosman DPMS SBR Suppressor Concept

Crosman DPMS SBR Suppressor Concept

This piece is still in development as I have yet to complete printing it or run any tests. IMPORTANT NOTICE: This silencer was created solely for use on air rifles and BB guns. It's essential to note that this design is not intended for actual firearms, and doing so without the proper paperwork, tax stamp, and Class III license would be illegal. I drew inspiration from sickopsycho's mock silencer design but wanted to see if I could transform it into a functioning suppressor. Although the Crosman DPMS SBR is relatively quiet by default, this project was designed as an experiment to test noise reduction capabilities on this BB rifle. Using Fusion 360, I built this design from scratch and recreated most of the look from sickopsycho's original concept (hence the remix attribution). Feel free to modify and improve this design using the included f3d file. I'm eager to see how others can enhance it. UPDATE: After testing, I found that printing at 102% scale produced a perfect thread fit. The suppressor did make a slight audible difference when attached, but most of the noise comes from the rifle's action (as expected). Accuracy and BB velocity remained unaffected.
