Crosman 2240 dual picatinny rail

This is a dual picatinny rail mount designed specifically for the Crosman 2240. The model demands some fine-tuning to achieve a snug fit. I employed 400 grit sandpaper wrapped around a rod to carefully sand the interior of both holes until they felt perfectly aligned. To provide additional security, four holes were drilled for brass M3 inserts that can be melted into place with a soldering iron. Four grub screws were then screwed in place. While this may not be necessary if you already have an extremely tight fit, it provides an extra layer of protection. The model is printed using PLA/PHA material and requires no support structures during the printing process. *Edit: To ensure optimal results, please print the model straight up. *2nd Edit: The custom grips visible in the picture can be found on Thingiverse under the ID 2658472. *3rd Edit: I made a slight modification to the model by chamfering the edges and adding an insert for a name plate. You can see this change in the updated picture. The model was reprinted using Woodfill material and stained to achieve a rich finish.
