The standard power adjustor is suitable for Crosman 2240-2250-2260-2300 series air rifles, functioning similarly to the custom adjustor but with a distinct setup. It replaces the main tube's endcap and includes a separate hammer spring guiding rod. The tension screw (+ blocking screw) allows adjustment of the hammer spring tension, which in turn impacts CO2 output per shot by altering the hammer strike's force and the momentum on the hammer to keep the valve open longer or shorter. Note that adjustments influence CO2 consumption per shot.
