Crockpot Knob

The knob on my crockpot has been acting up lately. It's supposed to be a simple turn and click mechanism, but it seems to have developed a mind of its own. Every time I try to adjust the temperature or cooking time, the knob gets stuck or turns in the wrong direction. It's really frustrating when you're trying to cook a meal and the crockpot won't cooperate.
