I crochet just about every day (cat hats!) and kept thinking it was a horrible idea to put my pointy little scissors on the couch. Plus I have a darning needle that I had to tuck away constantly. Decided to go on Amazon to try and find a tray of some sort and then remembered that I have a 3D printer. Then I got to thinking that it'd be neat to have a little magnetic pin cushion to set my darning needle in. This could definitely be used for other types of needle art, I just made it the length to fit my crochet hooks, needle, and scissors. It's really simple but one of the most useful things I've printed.
