CRKBD (Corne Keyboard) Protective Case

I recently designed and built a custom enclosure for my CRKBD (Corne Keyboard) that complements its sleek electronic aesthetic while protecting its delicate internals. The original PCB case, though functional, left the electronics vulnerable to dust accumulation. To address this issue, I crafted a simple yet effective solution - a removable top cover that fits snugly over the existing case, securing itself with the same screw holes used for the keyboard's bottom plate. This new design provides just enough clearance to allow easy passage through tight spaces and sits nearly flush with the top of the PCB case. The result is a robust enclosure that safeguards the keyboard's electronics without compromising its compact form factor. The design incorporates six 13mm holes on the underside, allowing for the attachment of anti-slip rubber feet that prevent the case from sliding or shifting during use. This thoughtful feature also ensures that the case can be easily removed without disturbing the feet. Currently, there are multiple versions available, each with its unique twist: Plain, LooseTransistor, and Corne, featuring a minimalist design with or without written text. For those who prefer to create their own custom enclosure, STEP files are included for download.
