Here is a video that shows my work for CRK challenge. First I would like to thank the SWX Grabriele model "Working Man" and Sartorius made available for "Ugly Man", and Jonathan Robson for "Kart steering wheel" and all the other contributors to this challenge for their interesting and stimulating ideas. TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION Basic criteria of the project as required by CRK: - Low center of gravity I then placed the heaviest parts: engine, transmission, battery at the lowest level possible (kg 25 + 25 + 80). The other heavy element is the passenger: Height 1.85 m Weight: 90 kg. I tried a compromise between a low position and convenient location which does not require contortions in order to board. - 100 km / h - Dimensions 1100 x 1800 - Safety cell of carbon fiber - Additional alluminium frames To ensure good road holding with such small dimensions are necessary good suspension, and the most simple used are the MacPherson type, especially in front-wheel drive. To have a good modularity I used the same for the rear suspension, with the addition of a torsion bar. The elements are therefore the same components with variations of the wheel hub. The rear suspension is integrated with the drive unit which is composed of the electric motor directly connected with the differential box. For engine maintenance, just remove 4 bolts. Around the electric motor is plenty of space to accommodate the electronic controller. I like cars, but airplanes also, and this is the result, I hope you like it.
