This floating "lily pad" gives wandering chipmunks an effortless escape route from the pool. The ramp connects directly to two grips securely attached to standard pre-cast coping edges on the pool's perimeter. As water levels change, the lily pad and ramp adjust in sync. Measuring 20.1cm x 20.6cm x 8.5cm, the lily pad float piece is designed for ease of use. Assembly Instructions Printed with PETG filament at a 0.2mm layer height, 25% infill, and three layers on top, bottom, and sides. No supports are required. Optional: To enhance buoyancy in case water enters the interior chambers, pause printing at Z=15mm to insert floatable foam pieces into the chambers. This maintains a higher float level. Attach the ramp to the lily pad using filament, then heat the ends with a soldering iron on low setting to secure the connection. Adapting for Pools Without Standard Coping Edges Print and assemble the lily pad and ramp as instructed. Securely tie a cord to anchor tabs at the top corners of the ramp and attach the other end to a sturdy pool edge anchor point.
