Critter In A Box - Useless Machine

Here is my "Critter in a Box" project. It's an Arduino-powered Useless Machine made from a wood box. The servo arms, component brackets, critter eyes, special hardware, and decorative parts are all 3D printed in PLA. Check out this YouTube video for more details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcM-q2Ju1I0 Instructions The critter has two fingers - one to open the door and one to control the switch. The glowing red eyes make it look like a critter is living inside. I've decorated the box with a strong box design, complete with hammered iron paint on the decorative parts. Everything inside is natural black PLA. I also 3D printed the custom Arduino shield. Take out the removable support in the center to give yourself room to work inside the box. The side door hinges open for easy access. A magnet keeps it shut tight. Find more details about my design in the as-built 123D Design file.
