Critter Bot v1
thingiverse
A basic project crafted from minimal components. Arduino Nano, two TowerPro SG90 9G Mini Servos, one LED, one 220 Resistor, one Slide Switch, and one DC-DC "Buck" Converter Adjustable Step down Power Supply Module. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-3A-DC-DC-Converter-Adjustable-Step-down-Power-Supply-Module-replace-LM2596-/360741066304 Notes: Servos and 9v battery are snugly fitted into the body. The head features a spacious cavity for LED, paired with a delicate outer shell, resulting in a beautiful glow effect. The Buck converter requires adjustment to provide between 5-6 volts (mine is set closer to 6). Adequate traction for feet is essential to enable movement forward; you can either roughen the feet or apply a thin layer of hot glue. There will likely be some trial and error with finding the right amount of traction, but otherwise, this build is relatively easy.
