Cricut Maker Pen Holder

Thought I'd share a useful adapter for the Cricut Maker. To create one, measure all features from the original Pen holder and design a 3D printable version that can be used in case it's lost or broken. I printed this with the prongs on the bed, which will result in less support but didn't cause any issues; you can flip it the other way, though, requiring added support. Initially, when printing with the prongs on the bed and using design dimensions equal to those of the original, the prongs would sometimes move away and not finish correctly. This problem was solved by thickening the prongs in my first print, which worked fine and is quite strong. Increasing resolution will yield better results and a stronger print. So far, 0.2mm works as intended; it took around 45 minutes to build at 80mm/sec. The picture shows that the arms are thicker, designed so they won't break when clamping down in the Cricut machine, whereas the original holder is made of a flexible material. Please note: Since Cricut doesn't support third-party accessories in their printers, use this at your own risk. I won't be held responsible for any damage caused to your Cricut while using this adapter. Let me know if you encounter any issues or if it breaks for any reason.
