The Cricket is an innovative recumbent tricycle that employs a distinctive leaning steering system. This groundbreaking design was conceived by brothers Gaspard and Lucas, both graduates from prestigious institutions - Royal College of Art and Ensta engineering school, respectively. The inspiration for the trike came to Gaspard during a bike ride with friend Tristan Kopp; Lucas then joined forces with Ahmed, Yann, and Florian to develop this concept further as part of their master's degree project in mechanical engineering. To bring their vision to life, they collaborated with Le Batard, a Paris-based company specializing in customized bicycle frames. Their excitement is palpable as they share their first video showcasing the potential of their unique trike.
