Cricket Bail V2

Version 2 of the cricket bails features design elements similar to the original model with bulges. Testing revealed that upright printing did not offer sufficient strength as direct hits broke the red bails easily. White bails were printed horizontally with a small block on one side to prevent them from sliding off the board, providing better support at the bottom. The bails measured around 110mm in height with a shorter end at the bottom to minimize support material usage. A 40% infill rate was employed but proved insufficient for withstanding direct hits. An alternative horizontal off-bed print (h.stl) was tested, as it is believed that this orientation would offer greater strength due to force lines running through the length of the bails. Test results will be reported upon completion.
