With a 4-inch SPAL fan and a radiator fan switch, you can keep your bike cool while navigating tight wood trails to prevent overheating. This mount not only secures the fan but also functions as a shroud due to its proximity to the radiator. Don't print this in PLA; it won't withstand heat. I've been using my ABS version in 100+ degree Texas heat without any issues related to softening. Printed with ABS and utilizing a 200F switch, it remains 20 degrees below the glass transition temperature, ensuring no problems occur. Even fits with Flatland radiator braces! Update: Also compatible with an IMS 3.2-gallon tank installation! The STL file includes a 0.6mm thick layer in the holes to provide support for the round hole above the hexagonal hole. It's easy to cut out using an exacto knife. Please note that if you put a SPAL 4-inch fan on a stock CRF450X, electrical issues may arise, including dead batteries. The bike's charging system outputs 40W AC and 20W DC; the AC powers the headlight, while the DC feeds the battery and ignition system (plus any additional lights with a dual sport kit). The SPAL fan draws 2.5 amps at 12V, which equals 30W – 10W more than the bike can generate on the DC side for the battery. You'll need to upgrade your OEM stator for increased output to power the fan. You may choose to ignore these warnings and risk battery life; however, poor engineering practice dictates that you shouldn't overload a system with an electrical load greater than its capacity. My stator was rewound to produce a maximum total output of 150W, powering the fan, dual sport kit, USB/cigarette adapter power port, and 72W of LED headlights. Can't print this yourself?
