This is a simplified 2D-3D model of the Hamburg city crest. It measures 4.297 cm by 5.818 cm when assembled. The design has seven distinct layers, each carefully crafted to achieve a realistic representation of the iconic crest. At its core, the background layer forms the foundation, while the castle body and three towers share the same layer, creating a sense of unity and cohesion. Delicately, the door is recessed into the castle wall, its frame subtly raised above the surrounding surface. Strategically placed, the primary crenelations are featured on one distinct layer, while the smaller sets of crenelations occupy their own separate layer, adding depth and visual interest to the design. Finally, the dome and stars are placed on the topmost layer, bringing a sense of completion and finishing touches to the model. Printing this piece requires attention to detail, as small issues may arise during the printing process. To avoid these problems, it is highly recommended that the model be printed at least 150% larger than its standard size to ensure optimal results.
