Como Calcio S.r.l. is a renowned Italian football club based in Como. The team was established in 1907 and proudly sports blue as its official color. In the 2002-03 season, Como achieved its highest national classification by participating in Serie A, but unfortunately suffered three consecutive relegations that resulted in a significant decline to Serie C2 at the end of the 2004-05 season after losing a playoff to Novara Calcio with an aggregate score of 2-1. This setback ultimately led to the team's bankruptcy and its removal from Italian professional football. Despite this, Como was later admitted to Serie D, the top non-professional division in Italy, where it spent three seasons before earning promotion back to Serie C2 in the 2007-08 season.
