A Personal Project to Master Hand-Painting, Sculpting, and Retopology Techniques. I embarked on a creative journey to hone my skills in hand-painting, sculpting, and retopology by working on a project that pushed me to explore each of these areas. Starting with ZBrush, I began by crafting the base model using its robust tools and features. Once satisfied with the initial shape, I then transferred it into Autodesk Maya for further refinement through the process of retopology. This involved re-meshing the 3D object to optimize its topology while preserving its original shape. The final step was adding hand-painted textures to the model using 3D Coat's extensive toolset and features. The project's inspiration came directly from Elune's scythe, a majestic and intricate piece found within the World of Warcraft universe.
