Cremone Bolt

I designed a window door latch using a rack and pinion mechanism to extend retract the bolt from receptacles allowing doors to open. To reduce plastic usage, I substituted a dowel cut lengthwise with a tiny screw attaching each rack to the dowel. The original design inspiration comes from thdudesign at grabcad.com/library/cremona-1. He created an intricately detailed stl of a cremone bolt which I imported into Fusion, scaled and modified for functional purposes.
