On the grounds of Lisacul's Roman Catholic church, a limestone plaque stands out with its gable-shaped design measuring 0.33 meters wide, 0.77 meters high, and 0.18 meters thick. One face features a recessed panel, while another side shows significant damage. The plaque showcases a relief crucifixion scene without any symbols of the Passion. Above this image, an inscription reads 'Gone to the House of Prayer.' Below the crucifixion, four lines of text are displayed. The first line states 'Gone to Adore in His Honour,' with the next two lines being illegible, and the final line consisting of a single word: 'Cross.' This plaque likely dates back to the 19th century, possibly originating from the old Roman Catholic church marked on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map approximately 250 meters west-southwest. Orla-Peach Power utilized an Artec Eva handheld laser scanner to record this plaque, a project funded by Roscommon County Council.
