I encountered a major issue with my FFCP (2016) when the power connector on the HBP began to smoke and suffered severe burning damage, necessitating replacement of both the HBP and cable as they were completely destroyed. After investigating this problem, I am convinced that it was caused by the HBP's movement putting excessive stress on the power connector, which over time wore down the socket in the housing and led to the fault. Notably, there is no strain relief on this connection at all. Moving forward: I have designed a device that fits snugly over the end of the board, effectively taking the strain from the cabling. Without hesitation but with caution: use at your own risk.
