Creator Pro Dual- glass clip [slim & simple]

This is modelled to attach a 3mm 235 X 155 glass plate directly onto the aluminum base. It won't work if you have another print surface already mounted. There, you've been warned! I needed to be able to make use of pretty much my entire print bed surface for my models. The original of this design, while a wonderful concept, simply took up too much room and the fan duct and 2nd extruder nozzle would make contact when at the limits of travel. I shrunk the corner as much as necessary but no more, now it *just* clears the printhead when pushing the travel boundaries. I also added a slight chamfer to the top lip so it would grab the glass securely even with the smaller overhang. The downside to this design is that the contact patch is so much smaller that the corners do not 'self align' when attaching the glass bed. You need to wiggle them into place, snug up the nuts, and wiggle again to insure everything is secure. Don't force it, finesse it. I've never had any issue with the bed not being captured solidly as long as I pay attention to the installation. FWIW- I mount my clips at the front left and rear right corners, again to give maximum clearance for the printhead in its travels. I reworked the bolt design, to make it a snug capture for a standard M3 hex nut. I attach this to the bed with the nut facing DOWN. You REMOVE the original nut holding the aluminum corner in place, insert said nut into this bolt recess, then reassemble. This way you do not need a 2nd nut to hold it all together, nor a longer bolt. Use a nylock if you want extra security, but I've not found it to be required. The textured nut was such a lovely design I pretty much left it alone. It works well and looks nice. I printed in ABS, and at the highest resolution, in order to get the best quality and strength for the threaded parts. You'll need to print two of each piece for a complete setup.
