Human: OpenSCAD script for generating various hardware components like hex threaded standoffs, circuit board mounting tools (with or without shoulders), round spacers, flat washers, cylindrical tubes, and shoulder washers is provided. This script allows for generating individual components or referencing the uPost module in other designs to add a standoff to a mounting surface. The given STL file serves only as an example of possible outputs, not as an actual design. To get more precise hole sizes, MCAD library polyhole is used instead of openSCAD circle/cylinder. A reference table showing standard specifications for small fasteners commonly used with these components is included in the package. Users are advised to be cautious when printing individual components due to thermal issues. Printing multiple copies, using a print cooler, or any other means to control the printed result is recommended. Other slicers might also have this issue but Simplify3D has a tendency to incorrectly size standoffs created with this script and asks if the part should be converted from mm to inches. Ignore the conversion suggestion.
