I've got inspired by the simple gimbal for Moebius action cam. I realized that just changing one holder on the upper servo is all it takes to mount it securely outside my house. Now, with a basic Arduino code driving 2 servos directly from TP-Link MR3020, I have full control over remote camera surveillance that can move the cam in all possible angles at will. Printing it out was easy - I just had to modify the middle connector slightly and reinforce it to ensure its stability. To assemble this unit, one needs to attach the original servo handle to both the middle connector and the camera holder with glue, and prepare zip-ties to secure the camera at two points. Unfortunately, outside weather was too foggy for a clear picture, so I won't have new footage before next year comes around again! **Printer Settings** - Printer Brand: RepRap - Printer: Hesine i3 DIY kit - Rafts: No - Supports: No - Resolution: 0.3mm first layer, 0.2mm rest of the layers - Infill: 20% **Post Assembly Notes** - Attach the servo handles with glue, using as little force as necessary since the primary holding power comes from a screw linking each servo and handle. - For gluing, I used cheap 2-part resin without issues whatsoever! - Secure servos with their mini-screws provided - Install base unit at final position - Handle assembly requires care as 9g servos are delicate and prone to breakage
