Creating an Ohmmeter With Arduino Hello everyone, I am Gabriel Calazans and I work at the Short Circuit (Curto Circuito). We are going to start a basic course for programming with Arduino. This is my first tutorial of a mini course for beginners in the Arduino world that I did to publish in Instructables. I think most of you have the material you need to make the tutorials, which are pretty basic. If you do not have it, you will need to purchase it at a place of your choice. Initially we will simulate a simple resistance measuring device, demonstrating its values through the serial monitor of the programming software. The Ohmmeter is an electronic measuring instrument that has the function of measuring the electrical resistance of a component or electronic circuit. The basic operation of the ohmmeter is simple: through two measuring tips it applies a voltage to a "resistance", and the result of the electric current that passed through the resistance is measured by a galvanometer. The ohmmeter's meter scale is marked in ohms because the fixed battery voltage ensures that as the resistance decreases, the current through the meter would increase. That is, it measures the electrical resistance: the opposition to an electric current (ohm meter). Mounting the Circuit - Fit two jumpers, one between GND and the negative row, and another between 5 V and the positive row. Then interconnect the rows as shown: Attach two 330 ohms resistors, connecting one terminal of both in a same row. Connect a black jumper between the negative of the protoboard and one of the isolated terminals of the resistors. Repeat the same to the other terminal by fitting the jumper in the positive row. Fit a jumper between an Arduino Uno analog port and the row where the two resistors are connected. Transfer the programming and click to perform serial reading; (image 2) After reading, turn the Arduino off and replace a 330 ohms resistor with a 1K ohms or 10K ohms resistor. Download the program again (without changing anything), and open the serial monitor.
