The original cooling fan does a poor job of controlling temperature, instead blasting air everywhere. In contrast, this new hotend cooling fan shroud channels airflow directly onto the heatsink, boosting cooling efficiency. It also comes with a built-in mount for the stock part cooling fan, allowing you to swap out the old shroud and install this one seamlessly. Notably, since the mounting holes are now fused to the top of the part, you can safely cut off the two internal pillars once printing is complete. This modification further enhances airflow and eliminates any need for support structures during the print.
