CreatBot DX resource definitions for Cura 4.2.1
thingiverse
I generally use CreatWare, the 3D slicer software that came with my CreatBot DX, for my daily basic 3D printing tasks. However, when I want to tackle more complex projects without delving into G-Code scripting, it's clearly not up to the task. Simplify-3D could be a suitable alternative, but purchasing it is out of the question, so it remains off-limits. In essence, CreatWare is essentially an outdated version of CURA from Ultimaker. While CURA itself has stagnated somewhat, it hasn't been frozen in time; we just need to dig through the extensive list of configurable (basic and advanced) parameters available in newer versions of Ultimaker CURA (e.g., 3.1, 4.2.1). What's more, this powerful slicing software is free and open-source, making it my top choice.
